Cozo is one of the last traditional aizome dyers in Japan, only using traditional ingredients and dyeing everything by hand

Dan hails from Sweden but has spent most of his adult life in the U.S. and Asia, fuelled by his burning passion for Japan and its culture. He has worked as a journalist and filmmaker.
As information becomes more readily available, people will ask more questions about the textiles they wear. With the research published on dermal absorption in the last few decades, we have begun to understand that the toxic chemicals used in the industry are poisoning our environment. We feel that there is a growing demand for smart textiles, especially ones with preventive and curative properties regarding skin disease, and we want to answer this call with traditional Japanese knowledge.
